We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based in Manchester, Cheshire, or Oxford and have a strong background in medical writing, with a proven track record of producing high-quality documents for the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing, writing, and editing high-quality scientific and medical content for a variety of audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers.
Producing clinical trial protocols, regulatory documents, and publications in accordance with industry guidelines and standards.
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including clinical development, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of medical content.
Providing guidance and support to junior writers and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of medical writing and applying this knowledge to the development of new content.
Key Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years' experience in medical writing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
A strong scientific background, with a PhD or equivalent in a life science discipline.
Experience producing a range of scientific documents, including clinical trial protocols, regulatory documents, and publications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving, with a keen attention to detail.
