Job Description

Our client, a leading Medical Communication Company, is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical writer to play a key role in the development of high-quality medical communication materials.

Location: UK

Salary: 30,000-40,000

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical writing within a medical communication agency or pharmaceutical company.

  • A degree in a life sciences discipline, preferably with a higher degree (PhD or MSc) in a relevant scientific field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Duties:

  • Develop high-quality scientific content for a range of medical communication materials, including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, slide decks, and digital media.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, KOLs, and scientific experts, to ensure that materials are accurate, informative, and engaging.

  • Ensure that all content is delivered within budget and on time, and that it meets all regulatory and ethical guidelines.

  • Mentor junior team members and provide scientific and editorial support as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific and medical advances in relevant therapeutic areas and apply this knowledge to the development of medical communication materials.
