Medical Publications Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Publication Planning:

    • Develop and implement publication plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams to support key therapeutic areas.

    • Ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory guidelines.

  2. Author Collaboration:

    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external authors, investigators, and key opinion leaders.

    • Facilitate the gathering of relevant data and insights for publication development.

  3. Publication Development:

    • Oversee the creation of scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.

    • Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and adherence to ethical standards in all publications.

  4. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Stay abreast of industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to medical publications.

    • Ensure publications comply with regulatory and ethical standards.

  5. Project Management:

    • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for multiple publication projects simultaneously.

    • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to streamline the publication process.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent).

  • years of experience in medical publications within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, publication guidelines, and ethical standards.

  • Excellent project management skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
